- Written on reverse: Just outside of Armstrong Woods State Park. Hexagon House – late 1940s. Built as show room, classrooms & student quarters for students of Pond Farm. Idea conceived & developed by Gordon & Jane Herr, to have individual artists teach their crafts. Some of the instructors were: Marguerite Wildenhain – potter; Victor Ries[?] - silversmith; Trude Guermonprez – weaver. Where most of the artists went on Marguerite made her home on Pond Farm & her work is still recognized internationally.
