Description

A view of the old board and batten cabin on the Mann Ranch, which was possibly a remnant of Russian construction. A truck is parked in front of the cabin.

Biographical or Historical Note

On the sled road from Fort Ross, the cabin was said to be built by the Russians as part of a settlement called Kuskov. It served as a kitchen for Mann Ranch. It was built before 1850.
