Thomas Miller Brownscombe (May 3, 1903-Dec. 17, 2002), Santa Rosa, Calif. lawyer; received a career of distinction award from the Sonoma County Bar Association; was in first graduating class of Santa Rosa Junior College.

John Moskowitz (May 6, 1927-June 6, 1994) was a Santa Rosa lawyer, a partner in what is currently Perry, Johnson, Anderson and Moskowitz.

Francis M. Passalacqua (Jan. 21, 1900-Apr.18, 2005), was born in Healdsburg, the youngest son of Italian immigrants who raised vegetables and founded a winery in Healdsburg. The practice of law was one of his great loves, and practicing since the Great Depression, his career spanned many changes in the community and the law itself. When he began practice, there were only 60 male attorneys in Sonoma County. And during the Depression, in lieu of money he often took produce or chickens from clients who had no other form of payment. He handled cases of all magnitude, and enjoyed representing numerous local clients. He was a very humble and respectful man. Yet, he was known in legal circles as a fierce advocate. He was most especially noted for his ongoing legal services to the poor and to minorities. In 1944, he was called to serve as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was stationed in the South Pacific for two years before returning home to Healdsburg. Mr. Passalacqua loved his community, and was very active contributing to what Healdsburg is today. He was President of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce and the Healdsburg Kiwanis Club, President of the Sonoma County Bar Association, and a member of the Healdsburg High School Board of Trustees.
