- Description
- Photo--black and white: Joseph Borba stands at the entrance to his tobacco factory holding tobacco leaves. Borba emigrated from the Azores Islands to Sebastopol with his parents in 1892 and he made cigars and ran a cigar shop for many years. The sign above Borba indicates that the building is Cigar Factory No. 11 and he sold cigars, tobacco and smoker's articles. The up-ended horseshoe nailed on the sign indicates Good Luck.
