- Description
- Photo--color: View of the damage caused by a landslide in western Sonoma County April 1983 in the Blucher Valley area of Sebastopol. Heavy daily rains from mid-January to April saturated the ground. The land--a field above Blucher Valley Road--split at the crest of a steep, hilly field owned by the Bolt family. The 'crack' is still there today--2009. Landslide details provided by Frank Baumgardner.
