Bunni was born in Ohio and was the wife to former Sebastopol mayor George F. Streckfus and the late Barney Cogsdell. She was the daughter of Charles and Eva Myers--Mr. Myers was owner of Sebastopol's Art Point Studios from 1917 until 1966--his company made stationary, greeting cards, etc.
