- Description
- Profile of the vocal harmony group, the Bootleg Honeys, whose sound has a country/blues/rock feel, and its co-founder, Katie Phillips. Phillips, Alison Harris and Hannah Jern-Miller, founded the band after performing at an EP release party for Three Legged Sister. They’ve been a consistent act at the Kate Wolf Music Festival, adding drummer Mark Tarlton, and more recently, bringing in Karen Joy Brown to replace Jern-Miller, Phillips, daughter of country-western singer/songwriter Mike Phillips and Sonoma County native, cites Kate Wolf as a big influence.
