A 1924 Santa Rosa city directory lists Walter Schmid as a partner in Prindle & Schmid - cigars, pool and billiard parlors located at 225 Fourth Street. Schmid resides at 312 Second Street.

Creator Note

John Clark Lindsay was born in Scotland in 1852 and immigrated to the United States in 1870. He became a carpenter and after working in various northern California locales and on Vancouver Island, B.C., he moved with his family to Santa Rosa, Calif., where he became a prominent and prolific builder. His first and most notable project was the Fountaingrove Round Barn, later listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Lindsay died in 1927
