- Description
- Photo--black and white: The William Rogers' homeplace on Mill Station Road in Sebastopol circa 1910. William Rogers and his wife Charlotte are seen near the front porch and next to two vintage cars. William Rogers owned the Wm. Rogers & Son General Merchandise store at Molino Corner on Occidental Road and 116. Charlotte, barely five feet tall, was one of the first teachers at Oak Grove school. Before cars, Charlotte would hitch up a horse or horse and buggy and ride to her teaching job at the school.
