- Photo -color--mounted: Darrel Hurst (1923-1998) in front of an apple sculpture with the Enmanji Buddhist Temple in the rear in Sebastopol 1973. Hurst, an apple farmer for 55 years, owned and operated the Twin Hills Apple Ranch at 1689 Pleasant Hill Road in Sebastopol. Sonoma county Farm Trails revived the Apple Fair in 1973 at the Enmanji Temple and then moved it to Ragle Ranch Park in 1977.
