- Photo--color Walter Petitider of Scots Valley, California, view the Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall and Ed Rainford's name (1946-1968). Sebastopol resident Spec-4 Edward George Rainford was wounded in combat on June 13, 1968 and was helicoptered to the USS Hope. Rainford was able to call home a few days before he died. He is interred at Calvary Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Rainford attented Analy High School and was one of 12 children of Mr. & Mrs. John Rainford.
