Description

Biographical or Historical Note

The Volkerts ranch was purchased by Jacob Friedrich Volkerts in the early 1890's and originally comprised 421 acres. It was later managed by Fred L. Volkerts and Wilbur Volkerts, son and grandson of Jacob.
