Biographical or Historical Note

The Press Democrat was located in the I.O.O.F. building, erected in 1891, on the corner of Exchange Avenue and Third Street, E. L. Finley, editor. Samuel and Frank S. Rhoads proprietors of Rhoads & Son, 203 Exchange Avenue. Andrew Bregazzi proprietor of Campi's Restaurant, 519 Third Street.
