Description

Photo--black and white: Mt.. Vernon Elementary School, original building which was built in 1903. This picture is prior to WWII, and an addition was added to school in 1921. Students and teachers stand in front of school. Mt Vernon School is now the site of the Red Barn Maple Shop in Cunningham area (Lone Pine Road) on Gravenstein Highway South.
