Photo--black and white: Main Street Sebastopol. Caption: "The Knowles" Hotel and other Business Houses on South Main Street, Sebastopol." The business to the left is the Sebastopol French Laundry and Real Estate and Insurance businesses are to the right. The Knowles was destroyed in the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and was rebuilt with the name "The New Knowles" hotel.
