Biographical or Historical Note

Stillwater Cove Regional Park is a regional park north of Jenner, California, maintained by the Sonoma County Regional Parks Department. The park is located near the mouth of Stockhoff Creek, with access from State Route 1. It was acquired by Regional Parks in the 1970s. Prior to becoming a regional park, the cove was notable as one of the filming locations for 20th Century Fox's 1947 fantasy film, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.
