- Photo--newspaper article with photograph: Press Democrat article of June 27, 1968 concerning Sebastopol resident Edward George Rainford and the wounds he received in Vietnam. Spec-4 Rainford was wounded in combat on June 13, 1968 and was helicoptered to the USS Hope. Rainford was able to call home a few days before he died. He is interred at Calvary Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Rainford attented Analy High School and was one of 12 children of Mr. & Mrs. John Rainford.
