Biographical or Historical Note

Frank Nervo, Jr., constructed the iconic stone winery building located between Healdsburg and Geyserville, Calif. in 1908 and the Nervo family operated the business (B.W. 350) until 1972, when the property was sold to Schlitz Brewing (which also bought nearby Geyser Peak Winery). The Trione family bought the property in 1982 and operated it as Canyon Road Winery; they restored the building and reopened it as a tasting room in 2009.
