Biographical or Historical Note

Janet McGregor was born in Dalbeattie, Scotland. She came to the United States in the early 1900's under the sponsorship of Charles and Clara Lawrence. She returned to Scotland during WWI, and later returned to Santa Rosa, California, where she married Frank W. McGregor. Together they had two children: Mary Ann McGregor and Billy K. McGregor. Mary Ann married a man named Bud Alwes (Elmore H. Alwes). Bonnie and Bill are their daughter. Bonnie married a man named David J. Paul.
