- Photo -black and white: Forestville's Silk--Son and Co. Tom Silk standing with hand on post. Clyde Fouts and Margaret Silk in delivery truck. Tom Silk was the unofficial first mayor of Forestville. He was the proprietor of Silk-Son & Co., a variety store, and also manager of Analy Savings Bank and the post master from 1900 to 1915. All three business buildings are visible. A poster for Buffalo Bill April 30th is seen at far right.
