- Photo -black and white: Forestville, 1912 looking down main street. Silk--Son & Co. variety store and The Forestville Branch of The Analy Savings Bank on the right. Also the L. D. Yeager Barbershop. The Ross brother's identical 1911 Cadillacs are across from Silk--Son & Co. The streets in Forestville were not paved until 1918. The taller building in the center background became Dinucci Hall which was later turned into the IOOF Hall (The Independent Order of Odd Fellows was a men's charitable and service organization).
