- Photo--black and white: Farm home of John A. and Barbara Ellen Brown, built in late 1800s, on Sebastopol's eastern edge with Laguna at right background. Several circa 1910 cars ar visible on road and in the driveway. Various out-buildings to the right of the farm house. John Brown bought 1,400 acres of land along the Laguna de Santa Rosa, most of which he leased to other farmers. The open field at the right of the picture became Cnopius Field--Sebastopol's Airport, in 1925. The road in front of the house is today's Bodega Avenue--Highway 12. The farm house is used today (2008) as a veterinarian's office--Animal Kingdom Animal Hospital
