Biographical or Historical Note

The Anderson Ranch includes a two-story folk Victorian farmhouse and agricultural outbuildings of a former chicken ranch from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with an additional commercial buildings -- a garage and a gun shop -- dating from the 1950s. Ranch associated with two early pioneering families -- the Careys and the McNabbs, and later with the Marshalls and the Andersons. Property appeared to be ineligible for listing on the National Register, but may have been of local significance.
